OCMJD preparation and gathering required resources

Hi,

I have passed OCPJP 6 and looking forward to prepare for OCMJD. Can anyone help me to find the right book(latest with new java features) so that I can prepare for the exam without fail. For OCPJP I used "SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Study Guide by Katherine Sierra and Bert Bates", which i found interesting and i am really fan of Katherine Sierra and Bert Bates. Is there any such book for OCMJD as well?

There is a book by Katherine Sierra and Bert Bates regarding OCMJD. Or to be more precise an extension to "SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Study Guide" which is available on the CD that comes with the book.

There is also SCJD Exam with J2SE 5 by Andrew Monkhouse and Terry Camerlengo which I found vary helpful.

Also, you should read this paper by Roberto Perillo.

I guess you know the OCMJD differs from the OCPJP certification. It's an assignment (develop an application based on a set of requirements) and essay exam, not a multiple choice exam.

Maybe you can start with reading ScjdFaq. Then you can have a look at Roberto Perillo's paper (will give you an idea about how the assignment looks like). And last but not least: the official ocmjd page.
