Does anyone know if it is safe on the OCA/OCP exams to assume that compilation never fails due to a missing or extra parenthesis or brace?

Checking this thoroughly takes precious extra time!

You don't have to count braces or parens match. One less thing to do!

You do have to identify *missing* braces/parens entirely. For example, this is wrong:


And this doesn't do what it looks like:

Thank you. This is what I suspected from doing the Kathy and Bates exercises, but since I haven't done the exam yet I couldn't be sure.
