Hi all...
Can anyone let me know whether session beans(both stateless and stateful) be pooled???
If yes, how they can be pooled???
and
If no, why they cant b pooled???

pooling of statefull session bean doesn't make any sense . but yaaa stateless session beans get pooled by container. and will made available to the next incoming request because they were not tide for any <strong>particular</strong> client. but coz statefull session beans are tied to a particular client so pooling of them is nothing
but a wastage.
as far as i am concern.......

i hope u r asking abt pooling not abt bean caching
. i had seen that generally people use both of these terms interchangebly. but both of them are very different.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
