Hello everyone,

I'm trying to learn JavaFX in order to build some applications I have in mind. I already have a good experience with java and I had used JSF to build my graduation project. One thing that is not very clear to me yet is how I should write my models. As far as I know, I have two choices:

1 -> Writing POJO beans as usual and updating/fetching information using a controller, which would end up being a more manual task.
2 -> Using JavaFX binding capabilities through properties and Observables.

Am I missing something? I'm asking this because I think the second choice would save me from a lot of work, but my models would be, somehow, dependent of the UI library.
