Hi,

I've been reading about String class and I came to a term called 'peer class'. Is peer class any different than normal class ?

Marcus,

I have read that too before you posted it but I didn't understand well, if you could explain a little bit it would be helpful.

http://javapapers.com/core-java/java-peer-class/ This site explains peer class quite well.
