no output to console  RSS feed

ok so ive been using eclipse for my java programing but i wanted to go back to my console but it is not outputing anything to my console? any ideas?

i had a previous java jdk installed i uninstalled it installed the new version and went to system and advanced settings settings, then variable and put in the path i know its right i did it before then i just started the cmd and went to the directory and compiled and ran the program wihich ran fine in eclipse

But did you ran in cmd ?

1. Did your program compile in commander after you uninstalled jdk and installed again?
2. What command you used to execute your program?
3. How your program looks like?
4. When you say "it is not outputting anything to your console", does that mean that console is completely blank when you open it? and even when you typing in you cannot see anything?

Few question may be they are silly
1) did you update jre too?
2) did you try running java command alone ?
3) Did your code expecting arguments from java "ClassName" command?

Please post code so that we can also see what is exactly happening.

well i got it to output but when i change a variable in my document and try to compile it in the cmd it keeps saying that it thinks the old variable was not used, even though it is not even there anymore
