I have 3 jsp's.
jsp1: contains date and text fields. For date I'm using input Calendar. Based on the values entered result will be rendered on jsp2.
jsp2: contains jsp1, result and a button which will take me to jsp3
jsp3: contains back button to come back to jsp2.

I'm using hidden tag to pass parameters from jsp2 to jsp3 and jsp3 to jsp2. For text field it's working but for date hidden tag is not working.
Can you suggest any alternate way to pass parameters.

First jsp to jsp transmission should be avoided.
They should be in WEB-INF so that no one can access them directly.
They should always be accessed by servlet only.

I am assuming you mean that you are using hidden fields on HTML forms. Hidden fields should work with any text, no matter what the source.

IF this was my problem I would start by double-checking exactly what HTML is being generated by using the browser view source function.

Doing form processing inside JSP code instead of inside a servlet is just bound to cause trouble and confusion eventually.
