Having to create a connection again after closing ResultSet In MYSQL (no Issue In MSSQL)

Hi. I have a small database app that was connecting to a MSSQL database.
I've modified It to work with a MYSQL database but I'm not sure why I have to create the connection again after
closing a ResultSet with MYSQL.

I could use the .setCatalog method Immediately after closing the ResultSet with the MSSQL connection but I'm
not sure why I can't do the same with MYSQL.
I'd Just like to get a better understanding of what's going on.

Sorry , Just a syntax error I made.
It's working now. I'll mark as resolved because I can't see a delete option.
