Hello everyone,

This is my first post, but I was following the posts on this forum daily and I would like to show my appreciation to everyone in this forum because every experience shared helped me so much. So I would like to share my experience. I took 1 month to take the certification since I had a background in java.( Approximately two years experience).

Resources used:
A-OCA 8 book by Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff.
B-OCA 7 book by Mala Gupta.
C-Enthuware mock tests.

Every resource from these helped in a unique way and I would like to thank their authors. Enthuware practice tests are a must have. The real exam questions were much easier and pretty close to that of enthuware. I used Eclipse IDE for practice, but I recommend that new programmers should use a text editor and a compiler.
Enthuware Mock exam scores:
Foundation: 71%
Test 1: 83%
Test 2: 78%
Test 3: 77%
Test 4: 79%
Test 5: 79%
Test 6: 83%
Last Day Test:91%

Finally, the key to success in this exam is to practice a lot and learn from your mistakes. I wish good luck for everyone preparing for the exam.

Regards,
Islam Amin

Congratulations champion! Great achievement Now it's time to relax a bit and have a (well-deserved) (or 2 or 3). And if you want to spoil yourself have a Belgian beer, our beers are the best of the world

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Other ranchers will definitely benefit! Have a cow!

Don't forget to add your name to the OcajpWallOfFame!

Kind regards,
Roel
