Storing a calculation into a database

At the minute i have created an android calculator app on IntelliJ, but i want to store the users last calculation into the database that i have already created.

So far i created and log a new user database in and on the calculator i can do the calculations. now i just need to store the last calculation that the user does into the database from their last calculation so when they log back in they can see that calculation

Any help/guidance/links to other tutorials would be truly appreciated.
