hi I've made a registration form.now after a user is registered i want to create a profile for each user.which can be edited by that specific user.could you guys please help me also tell me what are the changes required to make in the database?
Note: I've used session to login and logout.
any help will be appreciated.

This question is to vague to answer. It is going to depend on your specific database schema. As a starting point, think about where you want to store the profile - in a field or a separate table. And how big you want the field to be.

it is a student database.it will be having minimum things for now basic things like subjects class hobbies favourite sports etc I want to store it in a database.and yes i also plan to add each student's picture .
..also only that particular id can edit it's own profile ...you know the regular things ..

If this is a practice project, I would suggest a basic design.
Create tables like
STUDENT
STUDENT_SUBJECT
STUDENT_HOBBY etc.

Keep 1 record per student in STUDENT table and multiple records per student in other tables.
I assume you are aware of primary key, foreign key concepts and how to use them in this particular case.

In your form you'd want to open a browse window to let him find the picture file, and then upload it using ftp to someplace, and in your database store a link to where you uploaded the picture. You also need to be able to display the picture.
