I don't see their names on the OcajpWallOfFame, so they might not have taken the exam But this wall of fame is an excellent resource to read about the experiences of other ranchers who passed the OCA7 and/or OCA8 exam.

I know that their names are not on the OcajpWallOfFame, but you can see on their profiles on amazon.com, that they passed the exam.

Hmm, I'm probably not looking at the correct page because when I click on the links in the More About the Authors section on this page, I can't find it.

You can find it here in the Editorial Reviews section.

It doesn't mention both authors passed the OCAJP8 exam. It mentions "OCA" without a version number. So it could be OCAJP7 as well. Or it could be even the OCA Java 5/6 certification which is not related to the current OCAJP7 and OCAJP8 certifications at all.

Hmm... You are rigth, but when I read your response, I thaught I have seen a post, where it is written the authors ( or one of them ) took the OCAJP 8 exam. Apparently I imagined it.

I simply start a new thread to ask it.

In fact, Robert's name is on the OcajpWallOfFame twice, both almost completely at the bottom. And from these entries I think he passed both the OCAJP 5/6 and OCAJP 7 certifications in 2012.
I got this tall by not having enough crisco in my diet as a kid. This ad looks like it had plenty of shortening:
