Hi

The following code is provided as an example of the broadcast method on Dukascopy's Forex java platform :-

How does one code the method so that the broadcast class is an application that can be used by the main java trading program and NOT be the main program itself?

Don't know. I am not sure one can tell from that class alone. Isn't there a handbook?

Hi

No handbook - Dukascopy are pretty useless when it comes to examples

What I am trying to say is....................
Their example is where the broadcast is the main java program - and includes onMessage, onStart, onBar etc

However, in the real world - one codes the main java program as the trading program

I don't understand how to include this broadcast method within the main trading program

From their API, it looks like you need to run an IStrategy through an IClient. There's a ClientFactory class that will give you an instance of this type. I imagine though that all of this is done through their own platform application, and you can load your strategies in some way through their client.

Have you tried playing with the JForex platform JNLP?
