Running a skeleton

in the final chapter of Herb Schildt's Beginner's Guide, he shows a skeleton that outputs example text to the console and says it can be compiled and run normally, that is, with javac and javax. Assuming i transcribed it properly (with minor changes), the skeleton is:

It compiles without error, but doesn't want to execute:

OK, downloaded the book's code (which works) and compared. I forgot to make the class public!

Now it works.
