Hi,

I am about to start my preparation for OCPJBCD. I have about 2 years JEE professional expertise.

Kindly suggest me some good reading materials for preparation and some insights like

i) How much time it may take to prepare if i can manage 2 hours/day ?
ii) What books do you recommend , i read K & B book for the preparation of OCPJP. Do they have any book for the preparation of OCPJBCD ?

Thanks

It took me 13 months to prepare for the exam. I spent about 2-3 hours to study.
I first read the EJB 3.2 in Action for the concept.
I read the books and Fritz' notes as recommended by this FAQ link.
Check out Ivan's notes : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-0LAG21gaGDN3Jkblk3RnpKMmc/edit?pli=1
It is really helpful.

Ethuware and EPractice Labs are must read.
Google some free mock exams and practice.

Hi Himai Minh,

Thanks for passing through..

This means that there is no specific book for preparation of OCPJBCD like as for OCPJP there are many book to prepare Java but K& B or Mala Gupta's book provide you in-depth knowledge + prepare you for the exam ?

Yes, I tried Enthuware and really liked their mock exams.

There is no specific study guide for this exam. But I highly recommend you to read Ivan's 400 pages of notes with sample codes.
It is very helpful.
