Helllo,
I wanted to know that is there any other mock exam as good as enthuware.? The problem is I have attempted enthuware too many times so i remember each of its answer.
I have heard about whizlab but everyone here talks about enthuware so i dont know either whizlab is also as good as it?
Or is there any mock exam as good as enthuware or better than it?
I need to buy a mock exam .Don't know which one to buy..!!

Hi,

Believe it or not i don't think you need any other test suite than enthuware (personal opinion). If you are capable of answering the questions in enthuware then perhaps you are ready to proceed taking the exam.
Other alternatives can be mock exams through official books related to the certification.
Related to the whizlabs option, i have purchased in the past for 1Z0-803, the questions were adequete however there were not that to the point as in enthuware's. Moreover the environment is web-based which is really slow and sometimes anoying if you are about to simulate a real exam situation.

Thanks for replying .
Actually the problem is when i attempted enthuware I got poor results.
And then i studied further and kept on doing enthuware. I did many a times ,basically I overdid it.
So now I remember the answers option-wise.
Now I want to attempt anyother mock exam to build confidence.
What about e-practice labz.?
or anything other as good as enthuware.??
Please help me,

Hi,

For 1Z0-851 i used kaplan test suite which was authorised from oracle. For e.g. if you attempt 1Z0-803 there are resources in oracle site in "Additional Training and Preparation" which point to authorized practice exam suites.

Check the links for your reference:
For 1Ζ0-803 , you have authorised
Transcender
Kaplan
However you will notice that the prices are much more higher than expected.

I live in India and they probably accept international credit or debit cards which I dont have. Even if I did the costs are way too high. Any knowledge about e-pratize labs .. ..??

Enthuware is probably the best mock exam software on the market. And it was probably not very wise to attempt all Enthuware exams many times as it's the best indication of your current level and probably gives you a good and very objective mark about your readiness for the actual exam. And people often rush through all these exams although they are scoring (very) low. It's a big misunderstanding that only reading/studying the explanations and taking more exams will increase your score drastically. Only if you have a solid understanding of all content you'll see an increase of your score (and that could take some time). So if you score (very) low, you should study for at least 3-4 weeks before you attempt another Enthuware mock exam. If you want to practice your knowledge, use the mock questions/exams from study guides and the Enthuware mock exams you haven already taken.
I know all this advice is pretty useless to you, but I hope others will learn from it and won't make the same mistake.

Now regarding your situation. In the OcajpFaq you'll find an overview of all free and commercial mock exams. And on the OcajpWallOfFame you'll find plenty of (links to) experiences from other ranchers (including resources they have used). So it can be useful to determine which resources are useful (and which are not). But I'm pretty sure most of them will mention the Enthuware mock exams.
I don't know which study guide(s) you are using, but you could buy additional study guides and use the mock questions and mock exams. K&B7 has 2 OCA mock exams and Mala Gupta's study guide has 1 OCA mock exam.
I also don't know for which exam you are studying, but if you are aiming for the OCA7 exam; you could switch to the (more recent) OCA8 exam. Then you can buy additional study guides as well (the study guide by Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff has 3 practice exams). And you could contact Enthuware as well and ask if the question banks of the OCA7 and OCA8 exams are quite similar or really different. If it's the latter, then you could purchase the Enthuware mock exams for OCA8 and you won't know the answers by memorization. But if both question banks are quite similar, it won't be worth the money.

Hope it helps!
Kind regards,
Roel

Best of luck! And if you find one, don't forget to share it here as it could be useful for other exam candidates as well.

Like I mentioned already a few times, keep an eye on the OcajpWallOfFame and to the Certification Results forum. These are the most common places people will share their experiences when they have passed a certification exam.

Krishna Srinivasan wrote:I have prepared 400 questions for OCAJP exam. You can look out here:
www.javabeat.net/ocajp/

I have 3 remarks about this webpage you have advertised/suggested:

1/ number of questions
I counted the number of questions on this webpage and the total count = 248. So that's no waaaay near 400 questions. And tis same webpage contains the following (incorrect) quote as well
JavaBeat wrote:JavaBeat offers 250+ OCAJP 7 / 8 mock exams for the cost of Rs. 250
So either the information on this website (concerning the mock questions) or this quote needs to be updated

2/ OCAJP8 books
I discovered another incorrect quote on this webpage
JavaBeat wrote:At present there is no book available for OCAJP 8 Exam. but you can find lot of good books for OCAJP 7 Exam in the market.
Since the end of last year (2014) an OCAJP8 study guide was already available on the market. This post contains an up-to-date overview of all available resources for both the OCA7 and OCA8 certification exams.

3/ already added to the OcajpFaq
The JavaBeat mock exams (both free and commercial) are already added to the OcajpFaq, so ranchers are already aware of their existence (no need to create a separate post to advertise them).

Kind regards,
Roel

Hello Roel,

That was old message, Now I have corrected the page. I keep working on the questions and would have 600 questions by next month end. So, the banner was not updated correctly with latest information.

As you said, also it is in the FAQs page, so i would not add the mock exams links in the post here

The section "JavaBeat Mock Exams" requires an update as well The different topics still have the outdated question count.

And I have another question: are these 400 (soon to be 600) questions divided into seperate mock exams (according to the exam details of the actual certification exams)? And do you have different mock exams for the OCAJP7 and OCAJP8 certification exams or are OCAJP7 and OCAJP8 mock questions combined in different mock exams?

HI Roel,

Thank you for the update.

1. Yes. the 400 questions will be soon to be 600 questions.
2. Currently I have compiled all the questions in objective wise and not as separate mock exams.
3. OCAJP 8 have separate list of questions for the specific changes to Java 8 certification, that is not in the list what I have mentioned.
4. I maintain separate things for OCAJP 7 / OCAJP 8. At this time only difference is the extra questions that is specific to OCAJP 8.

When I complete the 600 questions, I would create mock exams similar to the real exams with mix of all the objectives for practice tests. At this time it is bunch of questions for each objective and detailed explanations for each questions.

Next year I will be launching OCPJP exams. If you remember, JavaBeat have provided mock exams for SCJP, SCWCD and SCBCD around 5-6 years back and it was discontinued. Now I am again re-launching the certification exams .
