Boost Labs is looking for a skilled and passionate Full Stack Developer: so if you can execute on brilliant strategies from a mountain of data and bring insights into code, apply now. We work on the cutting edge of a lot of technologies so we need someone who is resourceful in getting things done—a productive worker both independently and collaboratively. This person is a natural leader, definitely a reliable teammate, knowledgeable in their field, and most importantly, capable of earning the respect and trust of their team.

We love sharing code on Github and make ample use of issues and wikis. It’s not uncommon to hear us talking about a bug over the cubicle walls before moving into a group workspace to do some white boarding. You should be excited about experimenting and pushing boundaries. Our ideal teammates are constantly looking to learn something new and become better at what they do—whether that means doing self-driven research, or asking the Phalcon or d3 expert who sits next to you for advice.

You should have 5+ years experience working with multiple architectures and coding languages (front- and back-end technologies).

Required experience:

Implementation of a modern JavaScript framework (Backbone, Angular, Ember, etc.) and understanding of MVC concepts

Expert knowledge of XHTML, HTML5, CSS3 and modern responsive web design techniques

Experience with backend languages like PHP, Java, C, Python and/or others

Experience with SQL or noSQL database technologies (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)

Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

Designing and implementing data storage solutions; unifying multiple data sources and databases into a singular system

Data migration, transformation, and scripting, and formatting

Optimizing systems and applications for maximum speed and scalability

User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

Setup and administration of backups

Building reusable code and libraries for future use

You get bonus points for:

Experience with version control (git, svn, etc.)

Experience with continuous deployment tools

Experience with data visualization and information design

Familiarity with AWS

If this sounds like you, please submit a resume, cover letter, salary history, and any relevant work samples to jcovington@boostlabs.com or apply directly at http://www.boostlabs.com/about/we-are-hiring/full-stack-developer/

This is a full-time position. Pay is commensurate with experience.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
