Hi All
Yesterday I took my first certification in
Java.
My course of study was approximately two months, mainly studying on the way to and from work by public transport, and in the evening at home.
I started studying for the whole book "Oracle Certified Associate Java SE 8 Programmer The Study Guide: J.Boyarsky and S.Selikoff", just finished, I took 2 Enthuware
test with a score of 73% and 75%
After this I started study the book "OCA OCA / OCP Java SE 7 Programmer I & II Study Guide by K & B", After, I took another 2 Enthuware test and my scores have risen to 80% and 83%
Finally, I read quickly even a few chapters of the book "Java SE 7 OCA Certification Guide Prepare for the 1zo-803 exam by Mala Gupta" and I have to say that used along with other texts is very very useful.
Three days before the exam I did the last two Enthuware standard test and a Last Day Test, with score of 78%, 79% and 88%, I used the last two days before the exam to revise the topics where I obtained a lower score.
In certification testing I got a score of 92%, the actual test it seemed to be easier than the Enthuware tests, so I lost time looking for tricks of questions that seemed too simple.
The time of 2 hours was more than enough, I started answering all the questions, mark for review those on which I was not really quite sure, in the end, after about 1 hour and 30 had finished and marked about 20 questions, I have used another 30 minutes to cover all marked questions and finished the test.
Thanks to this forum and to all of its users, read your certification stories gave me a great motivation
