Error while stopping wls 6.1 server from console

Hi ,
We are using weblogic 6.1, while stopping the server from console we get this error.
"Could not stop server dev1 via Node Manager - machine mbean not found"
Any ideas.

Check this section in the docs -
Stopping WebLogic Servers from the Administration Console
You have to set up Node Manager to be able to start/stop servers from the console (follow the NodeManager link on the doc page).
That doc page also has information about other ways to start/stop the server....
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
