Greetings, Mala Gupta:
Good job getting a new book out on this topic. I am curious, though, are there any questions on the "fork/join" functionality on the exam?
Thanks

"Use parallel Fork/Join Framework" is one of the exam objectives of the OCPJP8 exam. So you should expect to have some questions on the actual exam about fork/join.

Thanks, Roel.

To add to Roel's message. Its also an exam objective for the OCP Java SE 7 Programmer II Certification - [11.4] Use the parallel fork/join framework.

You might want to download a free mock exam from this book, accessible from Manning's website. The imageincluded in this post highlights the download links.

Thanks.

With much respect,
Mala

Oh boy! Of course I meant the OCPJP7 exam in my previous post. It's clearly not a good idea to reply in the middle of the night
