Hi,

I'd like to know what's the most popular language to create mobile app (for android and apple) so I can enjoy vibrant community and support. I've heard Cocos2DX but the docs are not really that good.

Thanks

Yes, Bear already answered that. But I can repeat. You're not able to run programs written in Java on iOS devices, the same as programs written in Swift or Objective-C on Android devices.

But then you have guys like xamarin who say you can write your apps in C# and deploy them on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. Which sounds lovely, but I haven't tried it out.

Or if you've expertise in HTML, CSS and JavaScript you can used framework like Ionic to create application for both.
