I have just completed core spring part from spring in action book and some online videos. I have understand and execute the code mention in the book
but not confident enough to apply the same. So i thought to work some small project where i can apply this concept but unable to think anything.

Can any one of you please suggest any small project or coding exercise where i can implement and practice core spring 3.0?

Plenty of good tutorials and documentation on the Spring web site; http://projects.spring.io/spring-framework/
Most of these are based on Spring 4, and therefore java configuration, rather than the old XML configuration...
