Query on web hosting for building a website  RSS feed

Hi,
I want to build a website using Jsp. But wherr should I build my deployment area? As in where shud I install my webserver on?? Will webhosting help me? Will I be given a web space to install tje necessary web server, db server, etc? What exactly is the procedure togo for web hosting??

You need a server that hosts a servlet container (such as GlassFish, Jetty or Tomcat), or lets you install one. The easiest way is probably to find web hosting that lets you deploy wars to some pre-installed servlet container, but if you want more flexibility, you can have a look at a Virtual Private Server.

See the ServletsFaq for a list of some known web hosting services.

For local development and testing you can just install Tomcat or Glassfish. (I find the former much easier to deal with.)
