Hi.
I want to learn Java concurrency. I need some books to read. But I don't know which books to read and which books have the latest information. Please suggest me some books.

If you are looking at Java concurrency with the original options (like synchromized), Java Concurrency in Practice was a classic.

Many concurrency libraries were introduced more recently though. I'd recommend a book like the Well Grounded Java Developer to learn those.

Java Concurrency in Practice is still a good book, although it doesn't contain all the latest techniques. I can't remember if java.util.concurrent is already included or not, but it definitely does not include anything from Java 7 or 8.

Exactly. I am reading Java Concurrency in Practice to learn about Java concurrency because there are no new books that focus only on concurrency. I thought that is a bit strange. Because java concurrency is a difficult subject but there is only one book that deals with it. Other new books touch the subject briefly without delving deeper into it. I think either there should be new books written solely on concurrency or Java concurrency in practice should be updated. Anyway I will have to be satisfied with a 2006 book for the time being.

This one is new (July 2015.) I haven't read it and don't like recommending things I haven't read. If you read it, let us know if it is good!

Concurrency in practice is good book and it gives you high level idea. If you want than that's ok otherwise you should also check the "java memory model jsr-133"
for deep understanding about threads. There are some very good videos available from jeremy manson and alekesy shipilev.
