Thanks, Paul. You at Enthuware played the most essential part
Blake - I've actually taken it three times over the course of about a year and a half. The first time, I didn't know just being able to write
Java programs wouldn't pass you. The second time, they had changed the test the month before to be a lot less topical and so I had been studying for the wrong test basically. In retrospect the test was pretty easy before then. I missed passing that second time by a couple of points and I answered the last ten questions or so randomly because I was out of time. Plus the room was chaotic and freezing. I complained to Pearson Vue and demanded a retake because of the conditions, but they declined because I "was able to complete the test". This, the third time I was making consistent 80s on updated Enthuware, 84 on the last day test. In reviewing, what I missed was just oversights, you know, not lack of knowledge. Then with two hours of sleep...I tried to cancel but they needed 24 hours advance. I had been watching videos on Youtube about extreme military training, like SEALS where you succeed no matter what. Or die... Exhaustion no damn excuse. So I decided to have that mindset, and accomplished the mission by the skin of my teeth and got back alive
