The principle differences are that Ext JS is a library that's getting a bit out of date and stodgy. AngularJS is a modern framework for creating JavaScript SPAs (singe page applications).

For me there would be no contest between using something old and on the way out, and something modern and widely adopted.

Hi Bear,

Thanks for your reply, but I came across a blog which compares both the technologies and found that EXTJS is more better compared to Angular JS.

http://www.techferry.com/articles/ExtJS-vs-AngularJS.html

Please do comment on this?

Regards,
-Pankaj.

Sorry, I don't have time to go through of all that. And of course, you will find differing opinions on just about every subject all over the web. But ExtJS wasn't very well regarded even when it was somewhat popular (for example, it was far far less popular than jQuery), so it's not something that I'd start adopting now, even if it wasn't old technology.

You should, of course, make decisions based upon your own needs.

If ExtJS was out of vogue a year ago, another year certainly has not done it any favors.

Even AngularJS is considered old hat now, replaced by React and Angular (the confusingly named and incompatible successor to AngularJS).

Ok, I now understand that what you are make me understand. When every technology comes and not explored by developers it's pros and cons are not visible. Like When Angular 2 was well addressed  and now "React" is up ... When new technology there will be lots of talks on that. and after an year an another technology. Is my understanding OK ? Thanks.

The point is that ExtJS is not considered current.
