Hello!

First of all I want to say this is a great forum! It really helped me a lot getting the first Oracle Java 7 Associate certificate.

I'm currently preparing for the programmer exam (1z-804), I have read the K&B book and now i'm doing some mock exams from Enthuware. But I have some question: I did the first exam (1z-803 associate) 1.5 years ago so not all the details are fresh on the mind. I'm wondering if the questions on the programmer exam still tests you on the details from the first exams?

For example: I forgot how the labeled stuff works in detail. Is it needed that i study this stuff again or is it just enough to know that it exists? Should I also do some associate mock exams to refresh everything?

Thanks in advance!

Gunther,
It doesn't test the details of part 1. Some topics are cumulative though. For example, you should brush up on try/catch. You don't need to know labels for part 2.
