where exactly do i have to extract zip file?  RSS feed

Hi.i download zip file from this link:

http://github.com/rafaelsteil/jforum2/zipball/master

and unzip it to glassfish docroot folder,renamed folder to jfoum and tried to call localhost:8080/jforum/install.jsp

and this didn't work, i got not found error

and also i unziped into applications folder in glassfish4/glassfish/domains/domain1/applications and again tried to call localhost:8080/jforum/install.jsp again i got not found error

please write where i have to extract this folder exactly?must i have create project with existing folder?

That isn't a deployable zip file. In particular, it doesn't have the jforum.jar itself. You need to run an Ant build to create something you can deploy from the package. One way to tell is that the URL is github which is where developers work on it.

Or you can use a zip download that is intended to be deployed.

The first thing to do is to switch to the latest JForum2 version, which you can find at https://sourceforge.net/projects/jforum2. Drop the war file into your servlet container, and proceed from there.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
