Modify the database | Add new fields in a few tables.

Hello,

For the next coming months I've been working on modifying the jforum according to a few requirements that I need for my project. It has very challenging. So, this time, I really need to add a new field in one of the tables of the jforum. So, inside WEB-INF -> config -> database -> generic -> generic_queries.sql are the queries for the jforum? Please let me know if I'm wrong. What other files are involved?
