Guys,

I have a program in HTML where is called an external program.

Now I must do the same procedure in Java. The code that is used HTML is below:

req = new XMLHttpRequest (); var url = "http://177.55.99.146:8080/autenticacao/autentica?arquivo="+parametro; req.open ("GET", url, true); req.send (null);

How to do the same command in Java?

Thank you.

Check out HttpUrlConnection, or Apache's HttpClient for an easier to use library.
