petstore 1.3 on wl6.1

i am in the process of deploying petstore 1.3 on wl 6.1 but these deployment descriptors are confusing. is there a document available that gives the general process of converting from sun's RI to weblogic 6.1? How about a doc that explains the deployment descriptors in plain english?

it looks like that is for jps1.1.2. i don't think bea even has instructions to get petstore 1.3 working on weblogic 7. maybe looking at the deployment descriptors for 1.1.2 will help me with 1.3

with the J2EE covers deployment. lots of information there. boy did sun make this complicated!
