Hey guy, I just created a Notepad application in Java.
I copy most feature from original Notepad program and add some features such as Java compiling function to it.
Can you guy take a look at it and tell me what you think?

Welcome to Code ranch.

I confess I havent seen your program yet, but what is it that you are trying to accomplish ?
Are you making an editor for Java ? or are you making an editor in general ?

I think the functionality you want is similar to editplus where a user can add a shortcut to a program to execute and pass the current file as a parameter to it.
So, one can add a command : WhateverPath\javac.exe <filename.java> and WhateverPath\java.exe <filename without extn> and see the outputs in a log viewer

By the way, I am curious as to why are you making an editor for java source.
