Hi guys. I recently passed OCAJP 8 with 80%, with the help of Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff's guide (excellent book!) plus Enthuware software (also excellent!).

Didn't think I would want to take it any further but found the whole process very valuable for learning (and with a nice shiny cert at the end!) so now considering pursuing OCP. However, I'm in no rush and would prefer get involved with some kind of pro-bono/open source project that would also help me towards OCP instead of fake code snippets (though I appreciate there may still be some of that).

I am a programmer (about 4 years experience in Java), but my exposure probably isn't really "hard core" enough to help much with the more meaty OCP topics. Just looking for some advice on a project to get involved with. I'm not very good at dreaming up requirements, but given something real with a clear technical requirement, and I'll go at it like a Trojan. Anyone have something for me? Any and all suggestions much appreciated!

p.s. I posted a more verbose (and probably boring) version of this post in "jobs wanted" over a day ago with no reply. Either I'm being terribly impatient, or that was the wrong place to post (or it was indeed too boring).

Thanks!

Marshal
