Hallo,

I have deployed my Java eclipse project on 2 diffrent pcs and have on both the same problem. I checked the folder C:\Users\j.j\UAS\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.wst.server.core\tmp0\wtpwebapps\Projekt\WEB-INF and the files that i deployed are in there so they have been deployed. When i go to localhost:8010 i get the tomcat page, when it is started i can get access to the servlet i deployed but when i try to open the html or jsp page i get the message"resource not available. maybe someone can help me.

When i open this page: localhost:8010/Projekt/TestServlet?text=addition&number1=2&number2=2 it works
I can get access to WEB-INF
but i cant get any access to a file in this place http://localhost:8010/Projekt/WEB-INF/entry.html

You cannot access anything under WEB-INF from the URL; that's by design, not a problem.

Anything that needs to be directly addressed should not be under WEB-INF.

Note that servlets are not erectly addressed; they are mapped via your web.xml.

when i click on the file for example test.jsp and run on server in eclipse it opens this URL so i thought it would be the right URL so which is now the URL to open the jsp?

If you open the box, you will find Heisenberg strangling Shrodenger's cat. And waving this tiny ad:
