how can i unhide files of SDcard by connecting it to PC (windows 7)

i had an android HTC smartphone. I installed a photos and video hiding app. Then one day i lost my phone, but the SD card is with me in which all the photos were, to which i hide. can i get all those hidden photos back by connecting that SD card to my laptop ? if yes, then how ?
also the other folders are automatically hidden but only in laptop( like music files) ,but when i use that SD card all music files are available for me
i googled it but not found the solution, then i thought if all the java problems solver are here, why not to ask stuff like this
please help me out.

even the folder for this app is not visible to SDcard. so that i can recover the files by changing their extension

It seems like if you install the app again (or in your case on a new Android device), you can easily recover your files: Recover Hidden Files Gallery Lock
