Hello,

My application consists solely of one GUI. All items in the GUI is shown correctly.
I'm using a GridBagLayout to arrange all the items in my GUI
I wan't to create a statusbar to show the progress when program is running but how can I do that?
I wan't this status bar at the bottom of the GU.

Can someone give me a hint?

Anothter Layout or what?

/Håkan

I presume you mean a progress bar. Please start with this Java™ Tutorials section first.

Make your main panel use BorderLayout.
Create your GridBag panel and add it to the main panel in CENTER, and create a panel that holds whatever is needed to show the status and add it to SOUTH:
