Welcome to Ranch.

Please be more specific on constructing your questions. If you have any difficulties in understanding particular topic, please specify it and ideally please include related code example. Thank you.

First of all I wanted to thank you for a huge and huge contribution to this forum(As a part of UNIX/LINUX forums I know how tuff but satisfactory it is to maintain a good number of useful posts). I went through Peter's link which you have provided to us in your post, I have a question here I also started learning JAVA(Basic JAVA) from complete reference book of JAVA as I am from UNIX background and desperately wanted to learn JAVA, could you please tell me steps how one like me and may be some others who wanted to learn JAVA but they can only learn it from home as they may be from other streams can learn JAVA efficiently, will be grateful to you as I have searched in google too about this but too much matter I am confuse right now, will be grateful to you if you could guide here.

Thanks,
R. Singh
