Exam process for the Oracle Certified Associated Java SE 7 programmer 1Z0 - 803 certification

Hello All,
This is my first post on this forum.

I am a fresh computer science graduate and trying to get decent job in the industry. At the same time I have been preparing for the Java SE 7 programmer 1 certification exam. I am bit confused with the exam process. Can somebody please explain or direct me to appropriate source. I need to know the process to register for the exam, certification steps (assignment and essay) and retake policies. I checked the details on the Oracle website but am not very confident about the process.

Hello! and welcome to the ranch.
In most of the countries pearson vue is the test taking agent for oracle. You should visit the pearson vue website and oracle website to get the required information. You can also telephone your local oracle to get the required information.
In Pakistan, I may visit a pearson vue center and pay them on the spot in cash to get myself registered for a same day exam. or I may visit pearson vue website and get an exam booking by paying online using a credit card etc. You may extend the date of exam upto 6 months after getting registered.
