Is it possible to run a .jar file using a MySQL trigger? since I want to run a certain code every time my table is updated, though ATM my current solution to this is to simply run my code infinitely and this is a total waste of memory thus I was hoping if it would be possible to just run it every time there is an update in the table

Sure, It seems like I can't edit my question so I'll just post it here. The reason for this is because my main java program that does the inserting in the table is inside a no internet PC "it is needed to be that way", and the function inside the .jar file which I want to trigger every time there is an update in my table, the one I currently am running infinitely using a while loop needs an internet connection for the API inside it to work, also it is found inside the DB server which has an access to internet. Yes, the two files are on different machines one has internet and the other doesn't, and it is necessary to keep things that way. Thus I was wondering if there is an alternative solution to my infinite loop which is eating a lot of memory and I find it to be very impractical way of implementation.
