Edit text before approving post

Hi,

I want to edit the text before the moderator approves it. I have tried to moderation_list_post.htm the buttons from post_show_action_buttons_inc.htm where the option "edit" is available. However, it definitively doesn't work because of the permission configurations. Could you help with that please? Any advise.
