Hi,

My name is Aaron Boyse and I am in the middle of doing my Java OCA SE7 Certification. As part of this, kind of, I have tasked myself to create a Fantasy Premier League Forum through Java using NetBeans.

At the minute I have the idea that it should have a Registration / Login Form. With a Topics Tab and a comment tab also.

What else should it have?

Welcome to the Ranch

I presume you have a plan for the league app.
I think you should start with team objects, player objects and league object. Probably in the order player→team→league. Get them all working before you think about login screens or anything like that.

It is nothing like that at all, it is a forum application.

Kind of like this, but for Fantasy Premier League

You can check out JForum2, one of the more popular open source Java-based forum web apps (disclaimer: I'm a committer, so obviously biased). You can see it in action at http://jforum.andowson.com/forums/list.page; that should give you some ideas what you might want or need.
