Hi.
Can someone tell me if there is an API or a utility which I can use to get the number of messages in a particular JMS Queue in BEA Weblogic ?
I do not want to go to the console for monitoring the same. So, any other ideas are welcome.
thanks

WebLogic makes this information available thru JMX. Check this link for more information: Programming WebLogic JMX Services.

Hi.
I did check this out... and even tried a sample code. The problem with this is that it is too slow since all calls are RMI based. Is there a faster way to monitor the queues ?
thanks

That is the only Public API for monitoring WebLogic that BEA makes available (that I am aware of at least).
