Hello, ranch!

I am not a beginner to using jdbc, but i have a complete lack of understanding different data types and procedures
concerning this topic. For example how do you store an array of list objects in an sql statement? I have an
ArrayList<String> that will be populated with values selected from a checkable JList<JCheckBox>. What is the
standard approach to do this kind of operation? I want to update my JList<JCheckBox> objects with data stored
as arrays in sql. Does arrays really exists in sql?

I just want to pointed at the right direction with minimum amount of code provided. I haven't got that far in
using jdbc yet som i am a freshman big time. I have managed quite far with using only basic procedures in sql
like insert, update and join and then i have used theese operations with the Statement and ResultSet classes.
But as the headline for this post implies i can't get how to store entire arrays of list data in an sql statement.
I am very querious to learn. Sorry for any trace of bad english.

Thank you for your time!

Kind regards,
Robert.
