Welcome to the Ranch

Now the password you are referring is the DB password or another password user should use?

If the DB password, which is bad, because if failed attempt to many times, it make lock you out.

If the latter, you can use a Scanner or GUI form to prompt for the user and password and check that instead.

Basically Password is just a sample. I want to lock database to open it from any user. It should always ask for password to open.
For clarification Take a look here
When we create an access or any other MS File, so we can set password on file for protection. Similarly I want to set password on mine created Database file.
