hello guys.
I need some advice on my certification path.
i have already got OCA and OCP 7 certifications (that's 1z0-803 and 1z0-804).
Now i want to step to EE certification. I thought this should be 1Z0-858 but enthuware.com adviced 1z0-899.
So i need advice on this.

Thank you.

Those are both the web component exam. The difference is what version of Java EE is covered. The 899 covers Java EE 6 instead of Java EE 5.

Hi Fariz Sirajli,

First of all, a warm welcome to CodeRanch!

That's definitely a valid reason! And another reason would be that Oracle is retiring all Java SE/EE 5 certifications from Mar 1, 2016.

Have a look at the ScwcdWallOfFame to see which resources other ranchers used to pass this certification.

Hope it helps!
Kind regards,
Roel
