I am trying to take scjp 6 exam in coming Feburary. When I took one question about group()of matcher class,my answer is wrong.That question is like that...


java Regex2 "\d*" ab34ef

Answer is E.01234456
why ?this answer get? i think is it will get 234.and I know is that group(0)return whole string,and i don't know group()without parameter how it works?
