i need a create a new page whcih can be accessed only by those having admin userid and pwd . if the suer id and pwd is correct they will be redirected to the app. the admins will be accessing the page like this<mysite>/myname/admin/admin.jsp after that if the userid ic correct they will be redirected <mysite>/myname/.My question where to create dir admin.

Hi teena,
The admins folder can be where it is now
<mysite>/myname/admin/admin.jsp
The only thing you need to do is make the
<mysite>/myname/admin
path secure in the web.xml path and then assign roles to people who can access this path.
