Hello everyone...
I am working on my final year college project. I want to develop a desktop application but I am uncertain of the framework.
Can anybody suggest me a good framework which gives a lively and rich user interface also which is an open source framework...

Thanks in advance...

Please choose the forum carefully in future. Read http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/java/CarefullyChooseOneForum. "Certification Results" forum is not for framework suggestions.

The most popular java desktop framework is Swing. Its successor is JavaFX.
You can make lively and rich user interfaces with any framework - it's a matter of skill and practice.

Think about what windows, dialogs and interaction your user interface should support.
Write some prototype user interfaces in both and see which one you like more.
