Maybe you can tell us what channel(s) of learning you are most comfortable with, and then we can give appropriate information.
Do you learn best from books or videos or online courses or something else?

Regardless of the channel, some tips from my experience:
- Read all the programming guides once over, and bookmark them. They are a treasure trove you'll keep returning to time and again.
- Read all the UI design guides once over.
- Chuck the emulator and run all your experiments on actual Android devices. Saves a lot of time and frustration.
- Familiarize yourself with Android Studio's keyboard shortcuts. Again, saves a lot of time and frustration.

In reality, the best way to learn anything is read, understand, write code, make mistakes, figure out where you went wrong. Repeat.
