problem in cluster setup -----URGENT !!!!!!

Hi,
I would highly appreciate if anyone can help me in solving my problem. Thanks in advance.
I have 2 weblogic servers in the cluster. Don't know why sometimes, one of the app.servers will not be running within the cluster.
When I go to admin console, and click on the server node, I can see that one of the app. server will not show "Running". But I can see from its instance window that, it is running.
I believe that when the server comes out of the cluster, there may not be consistency in the processing what it does with respect to the other
servers which will be running in the cluster.

what is your configuration for this --
admin server
managed servers
node manager
machines
